Nicole Mueller

PSCNN Vice-Chair & Co-Founder

Originally from Madison Wisconsin, Nicole studied advertising and communications at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Through a series of events, Nicole switched from the University of Wisconsin Madison to finish up her degree at Columbia College Chicago in Film.

Focusing on Film editing, she was able to work for many years in commercial advertising for such brands as Coca-Cola: Coke, Dasani, McDonald's, Walgreens, Propel, Nintendo, Kraft, Wheaties, Sonic, Gatorade, SC Johnson, Dell, Budweiser, Pepsi, Char Broil and many, many more. In 2005 Nicole went to work for the Oprah Winfrey show at Harpo Productions. Through ‘Show’ editing and assistant editing, she was able to work on the Oprah Winfrey show for six years along with the Nate Burkus Show, Laura Berman Show, Dr. Oz Show, Oprah: Season 25, Oprah: Oscars shows, and Oprah’s Favorite Things & Christmas specials.

In 2011, Nicole left it all behind and moved to Reno, Nevada with her husband and daughter (the light of her life) for new adventures. In 2016 she was asked to work at the VA in their American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA) Information & Referral Center as the Coordinator. Throwing herself into Parkinson’s disease work, she met with and assisted the northern Nevada PD community. However, in 2021, the center closed due to COVID and Nicole co-founded the Parkinson Support Center of Northern Nevada with Mindy Lokshin. And as they say, the rest is history!
